The Bridge is brought to you by KSwiss and by Carvaan by Saregama.
Sammy’s got a very entertaining hour. He starts the show by acknowledging the tension in the South Asia region, and announces that he will be joined by Sunny Grewal from the UK. Sunny joins the show to discuss the UK’s social economic climate and addresses the question from Sammy as to how bad the state of the affairs are there. Sammy’s hour of music is patented and contains the usual ingredients for his moniker of the most entertaining hour in South Asian music. He’s got music from across the diaspora. He’s joined by Shailen, Doyeeta, and Dr Roy, as Dr Roy shares insights on the ongoing Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and some of the programming happening this week. Sammy talks about the song Kodak and especially the growth of the Indian hip hop genre over the last year or so, and points to Seethe Maute’s collab with King.
