Owen is joined by Kiko Denzer, a man of many talents and vocations. His gigs have included writing, editing, managing a community newspaper, and building a homestead, as well as his current array of teaching, publishing, building, homesteading, and producing various arts and crafts. A move into a tar paper shack outside of the city during Kiko's mid-adult life opened his eyes to a different approach to life. A way that involved focus on community and having closer ties to the land. During this conversation with Owen, ideas are exchanged about consumerism, the dichotomy of making a living from the creation of art, among other philosophical topics making for an engaging dialogue that's relatable to anyone considering self employment.
