Owen is joined by Cecilia Mihaylo a freelance Spanish interpreter. A self-described talker and seeker of new things Cecilia loves serving her local Hispanic community with interpreting services. From a young age she found herself interpreting for her mother, and soon after others too. It wasn't until her twenties that she discovered the certification process for interpreting which transformed it into a career. After landing a "secure" job with the state courts and laboring there for a decade Cecilia suddenly discovered that being an employee isn't always as secure as one might think. She was forced to turn to freelancing in the interpreting world because of a layoff, which at the time wasn't celebrated but years later she found to be a preferable situation. Cecilia not only enjoys her job but says she'd do it even if she won the lottery. Now that's passion to serve!
