Episode Synopsis:
Elizabeth Anne Wood is Professor of Sociology and chair of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Nassau Community College. She is also Senior Strategist for Woodhull Freedom Foundation, the only national organization dedicated full time to affirming sexual freedom as a fundamental human right. Her debut memoir, Bound: A Daughter, a Domme and an End-of-Life Story (She Writes Press, 2019) explores themes of sexuality, illness, aging, and the dysfunctions of the U. S. health care system and is available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats. Elizabeth is a devoted cat person, and when she isn’t writing, teaching, or strategizing you can sometimes catch her on the flying trapeze.
