Most people celebrate their 21st birthday with a party or maybe a holiday.
But Ang Roan had a different idea.
To celebrate her 21st birthday Ang rode over 800 kilometres on a bike from Adelaide to Melbourne to raise money for Stand Up Events to eradicate homophobic behaviour/language in youth in sport. During my chat with Ang we talk about how you prepare for this type of event, how you work with businesses to raise money and why homophobic behaviour in sports is such an important issue that we need to address.
