A Somatic Practice to Self-Regulate in 15 Minutes

Welcome back to the Body Wisdom Podcast!

Do you ever feel like you are stuck in your mind with your negative thoughts on repeat?

If so, you are NOT alone!

So often we desire to intellectualize our thoughts and we stay stuck in our minds trying to understand it all. When really - we are designed to FEEL our feelings and MOVE with them.

I also know that SO many of you resonated with episode #8 where we talked all about the freeze response and how to recognize it in your own life. If you haven’t already, listen to that episode HERE and then come back to this episode!

In today’s episode, we dive into the world of somatics where I guide you through a simple yet powerful practice to self-regulate in just 15 minutes. Somatic practices involve tuning into the body to regulate emotions which reduces stress and cultivates a sense of well-being.

This will also help you drop into your body to FEEL your feelings and MOVE with what is coming up in your life - rather than staying stuck in your mind or feeling frozen. Join me as I guide you through a step-by-step process that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine to enhance your overall mental and physical health.
