In this episode we interview Justine’s friend, Chloe Chan, about her history with her body, how stereotypes surrounding her impacted her self-worth, and how she found strength, pride and appreciation for her body through a form of fitness she loves. She shares how she felt placed in a “box” as an Asian American, and details how racial perceptions and her need to defy yet conform to them impacted her relationship with her body, both emotionally and physically. She also speaks about her passion for Orange Theory, her love of joyful movement and how she relates to her body today.
