Ep. 76: Meet Nadria Tucker || Life After the CW & Black Representation in Media

We're kicking off International Women's History Month (International Women's Day is 3/8/21) by sitting down with former CW, but longstanding TV Writer, Producer, and fellow Blerd @nadriatucker to discuss being a black content creator in mainstream TV. She shares her experiences working for different networks & and the factors that made those shows & experiences different.  Piggybacking off of the latest The Blerd View episodes on the CW being trash, we spend some time discussing the controversy surrounding black narratives in media and then specifically in the superhero genre.  And of course, we had to get the scoop on what actually went down in the Superman & Lois Writer's Room. And listen, there are quire a few problematic "faves" discussed on this episode.  Tune in & stay tuned because we will definitely be bringing Nadria back to discuss some of her upcoming projects promoting positive & powerful black images in the media!  πŸŽ™: @thedccomics_fanatic & @burningstarofficial  β€’   β€’   β€’ #womenshistorymonth #superman #supermanandlois #thecw #blackwriters #blacknerds #blerdgirl #blacksuperheroes #blacksuperheroesmatter #theblerdview #podcastersofinstagram #podcasters #podcasting #blackgirlmagic #blerdgirlmagic
