Sizing up fashions biggest opportunity...clothes that fit!

In this Podcast I talk to Julia Reynolds, founder of Tru-Size a company offering clothing design and sizing solutions to the fashion industry. Julia shares the significant issue of clothing returns due to incorrect sizing, which leads to an alarming £7 billion cost for UK retailers and contributes to over 300,000 tonnes of textiles ending up in landfills each year. This problem has prompted Julia and the team at Tru-Size to develop a new model for the standard measurements and how the grading of additional sizes can be extrapolated to ensure a more predictable fit for the clothes you buy. This change can make a meaningful impact on both consumer well-being and the environment in addition to improving profits for retailers. A new way of looking at an old problem and hopefully a practical solution to fashion's biggest problem...the clothes don't fit becaus of you (the consumer), they don't fit by design. Let's change that.
