Whether you are planning on having a baby soon OR you just found out you're pregnant, this is one episode you need to listen to!

It can be super overwhelming hearing different peoples' opinions and choosing which way to go- so I have broken it down for ya! This episode goes through

- Health care professionals you can see in pre-conception/early pregnancy

- Different models of care including: Private Obstetrician (private and public hospital options), Midwifery group practice/caseload, public antenatal clinic, shared care with GP, home birth with private practising midwives as well as the option of having doula support.

- Some tips for early preparation! My favourite books are Gentle Birth Gentle Mothering by Dr Sarah Buckley, Ina May's guide to childbirth by Ina May Gaskin and Reclaiming childbirth as a rite of passage by Dr Rachel Reed.
