Chapter 4: Knowledge, Detachment, and Renunciation
In the fourth chapter of the Gita, Krishna reveals that he is incarnated whenever unrighteousness is on the rise. He explains that actions can lead to good and bad karma but there is no karma when actions are performed with detachment. Finally, Krishna describes how an act of offering is at the heart of a yajna and gives examples of material and non-material sacrifices one can make in life.
