In the second episode of our Mental Health Awareness Month series, we chat with one of our athletes and past coaches, Brodie Cameron. Brodie shares about his nearly-lifelong struggle with anxiety and mental health issues—some that, until recently, he did not talk about openly. We are honoured that Brodie could join us today and share his story, experiences, and path to mental health recovery. From losing his mom at a young age and having anxiety as a kid (but not really knowing what it was), to his eventual pulling away from family and friends, Brodie has walked a long road. He shares about what caused him to finally open up and get the help and support he needed, and how he has learned to manage his symptoms.
