In this episode we explore thinking differently with neurodivergent hosts Grace Timothy, who has ADHD, and Char Bailey who has autism.
Grace Timothy is a is a writer and broadcaster. As well as holding staff positions at Vogue and Glamour, Grace has also contributed to Allure, Vanity Fair, W, Sunday Times Style and many more publications. She co-runs InclusiveMedia.info with fellow journalist Anita Bhagwandas. Harper Collins published her ‘mum-oir’ ‘Lost in Motherhood’ in 2018, which comedian, Katherine Ryan called ‘Hilarious and painfully honest’. Her new podcast ‘Is It My ADHD?!’ is out now.
Char Bailey is a community campaigner, writer, model and content creator raising awareness about autism. She is head of education and well-being for Birmingham Pride, education officer for UKBP and features writer at Diva Magazine. She’s also a well-being practitioner and presenter.
Join us as we focus on reframing the narrative around neurodivergence, destigmatising diagnosis and demystifying what it is like to think a little differently. From early schoolhood experiences, misdiagnosis, late diagnosis and how to celebrate and support neurodivergent friends, family members and colleagues.
