Today, I’m taking a slight deviation from the Movies and Me podcast to bring you a special short episode. I’m going from the big screen to the small screen because recently I got to chat to one of the stars of Jack Ryan, Wendell Pierce, who plays James Greer.
Before this we came to love him as Bunk in The Wire, and, Robert Zane, Rachel’s dad (Meghan Markle) on Suits. I loved him in all of those roles so I was thrilled to get to chat to Wendell about what he has loved most about being a part of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan; what acting means to him; and of course we couldn’t not talk about The Wire.
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is streaming on Prime Video now.
I am taking a break from the regular Movies and Me podcast. It will be back in September. In the meantime, feel free to go back and listen to episodes you may have missed. If you like what you hear, feel free to rate and subscribe and as always, feel free to get in contact with me on Instagram or TikTok - @sarinabellissimo on both of them, to let me know who you’d like to hear on this podcast next and get to know a little more about them, through their movie choices.
