Beer and B Movies: Episode 84 - The Living Skeleton (1968)
The Living Skeleton, comes out this Saturday. This Japanese tokusatsu horror picture is a true mystery to us. Pirates slaughter an entire ship of passengers for gold, only to be hunted down by a ghost three years later. Or is it a ghost? The twin sister of one of the victims might be the killer, but is she even alive? There's a real dreamlike quality to this one that draws you in, and we're thrilled and thankful to the kind folks at @absolutionbrewing for giving us four beers to pair up with this picture: Su-Do Pilsner, Cruisin' South Mexican Lager, 405 IPA and Thiol Dial Thiolized Hazy DIPA. It's a surreal journey into the afterlife, and a crime caper film rolled together. Thanks for listening! Check out our website SUBSCRIBE: to the show on Apple Podcast  or Google Play.
