She has spent the last three decades discovering and cultivating great designers, artists, and founders in fashion, home and beauty.In 2020, she introduced a very unique beauty brand - Valdé Beauty with the purpose of paying homage to her mother, women and the beauty industry. Arriagada serves on boards, mentors and invests in emerging brands, especially Latine brands to continue the legacy for inclusivity she influenced as Chief Merchant of Sephora. Having sponsored a grant program through Valdé for Latine brands for a few years, realized the greater need to advocate for more brands and beauty professionals.
