In 2017 I became Paralysed from from the shoulders down following a fall while out cycling. My life changing injuries haven't kept me from shying away from taking on challenges and I have being providing Medical Professionals wrong. I spent nine months in hospital and two months on a ventilator. I want to show you how " Being Yourself " can bring you through the toughest of challenges. Thanks for your support 😀❤

I'm delighted to say that my guest this week on "Stand Out" with me Ian O’Connell is Nikki Bradley. Nikki is an adapted adventurer and motivational speaker, ambassador and a fitness enthusiast with a special interest in adapted training. Nikki’s life has not been what you would call, ‘normal’. Diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer (Ewing’s Sarcoma) at sixteen and the receiver of a second total right hip replacement at the age of twenty six, Nikki has been on a truly unique journey. From climbing the highest mountain in Ireland using crutches and much more.
