Sanat Mehta is a movement and a theatre practitioner, trained in Jazz, Ballet and Modern Contemporary with a rich background in meditative and other mind-body practices inspired by Buddhist, Advaita-Vedanta, Javanese, and Taoist cultures.
For over 10 years, Sanat has been training, developing and sharing self-transformation through performing arts practices. Using his expertise, Sanat aims to create inclusive spaces, foster body-mind connection, and promote empathetic communication, decolonising minds along the way.
Sanat is currently in Singapore deepening his studies at the Intercultural Theatre Institute, embodying contemporary acting practices and traditional theatre practices from different regions of Asia in order to integrate a holistic understanding of a living body for artistic development.
