Why are horror films scary? Just what is it in horror movies, shows, stories, and legends that causes chills to run through our bodies and give us nightmares?
These are some of the questions we attempt to answer as we talk about all things horror.

Welcome to the first episode of our very first podcast!
Banshees have their origins in Irish and other Celtic folklore. Today, we can find them portrayed in movies, and even in cartoons made for children. However, ghostly figures such as the Banshee are not exclusive to Irish folklore. In fact, many other countries in the Americas and South Asia have their own "version" of the Banshee. Join us as we share and discuss some of these spooky tales.
If you have any personal experiences with any of the ghostly figures mentioned in this episode of the podcast that you would like to share, please email us at the-banshees@outlook.com. We would love to read them in a future episode!
