Née en Suisse de parents vietnamiens qui sont partis y étudier avant la guerre, Kim a connu Singapour à 12 ans, quand son père y est devenu expatrié. Cela lui donnera l'envie d'y revenir, après ses études à Lausanne.

Elle est maintenant installée à Singapour depuis six ans, et nous raconte comment le Vietnam essaie d'attirer les "viet kyeu", diaspora vietnamienne ayant grandi et travaillé à l'étranger.

Elle nous décrit les opportunités professionnelles qui se développent au Vietnam, et invite à la circulation des personnes, aux échanges entre l'Orient et l'Occident.

Elle nous emmène aussi à Hue, au Vietnam, à la recherche de sa lignée princière...
