A typical nuclear family is usually comprised of a mom and dad plus their kid/s. In the Philippines, once a person reached the marrying age, he or she will surely be bombarded with questions like "when are you getting married?", "When are you having kids?" and comments like "You should have kids now so you can still enjoy being with them while you're young". A lot of times, most people cannot understand couples deciding not to have kids or those in a childless marriage.
In this episode, journalist Maro Enriquez shares her story about opting not to bear a child despite being married for quite some time now, respecting other people's choices, and living a life questioned by the majority.
