The Axis Effect talks with leaders and titans of different industries about the true meaning of leadership, the success of failures, and the inspiration that drives them to strive for excellence
This installment of The Axis Effect features Mark Sullivan.
With a career in writing that spans multiple facets, Sullivan did not begin writing the fiction he is known for until he was 30, studying journalism before spending time in the Peace Corps teaching English to children in the Sahara Desert.
Since publishing his first novel in 1994, Sullivan has focused his works on using true stories that move him to tell a real story with a fictitious lens. His success speaks for itself, co-writing five books with the legendary James Patterson. Most recently, Sullivan published The Last Green Valley, a story of forced child soldiers in Africa.
Sullivan discusses his writing process, the real-life experiences that inspired his books, and the importance of using his stories to increase awareness among his readers.
