Lt. Cdr. Bijay Nair (retd), is commissioned Naval Officer from Naval Academy and served 10 years relinquishing as LtCdr, with many medals and accolades. He has been a part of Operation Talwar during 1999 (famously known as the Kargil war) and is decorated with Op Vijay Medal.
In 2003 and 2004 he was awarded a commendation by Flag officer western Naval command, in 2006 he was awarded prestigious Chief of Naval Staff commendation.
