In this episode I have a very interesting (and long) conversation with Mr. Jeffrey Wernick, We talk about the current state of the economy and how it relates to past economic events and policies.
Jeffrey Wernick is a seasoned independent private investor in various sectors across the global economy. Mr. Wernick started his career trading options and futures on the CBOE, CBOT and the CME. In 1971 when President Nixon suspended converting dollars into gold at $35/ounce, a 15-year old Mr. Wernick invested his then life savings of $5,000 into gold stocks, which grew to approximately $250,000 in 1974 when he entered the University of Chicago and began trading.
