"Authenticity is important," "Be Authentic." How often have you heard those phrases, particularly in business, marketing, storytelling, and the arts? In this podcast, we talk to creators and creatives to learn more about their journey to authenticity, how they found the courage to share their voice and point of view, and how we can overcome the everyday challenges of uncovering and sharing our unique and authentic voice. Along the way, I hope you will be inspired to speak up and let your voice be heard.

Episode 8: Featuring Fred Aebli of Get Me Coding & “The Teacher’s Pep Rally Podcast”
In Episode 8 I'm joined by Fred Aebli, or Mr Fred as he's known to his students! While inspiring and teaching the next generation of computer software programmers and technologists for over twenty-five years at the university level, Fred also reaches out to a younger generation of learners to ignite curiosity and inspire problem solving while learning to code. Creating a variety of activities to unlock the mystery of coding, Mr. Fred engages students with his positive message and love of technology while building confidence to keep taking on new challenges. Drawing from his experiences in the classroom, his kids coding camps, and his own children, Mr. Fred shows that learning to code, thinking logically, developing collaboration skills, and becoming a better thinker can be fun. All these things help students thrive in the classroom and their future careers. You can also hear Mr. Fred as one of the co-hosts for The Teacher’s Pep Rally Podcast where he along with his teacher peers interview educators and those in the education space to share their inspirational stories to uplift teachers and at times pull back the curtain of education to show teachers are human. Mr. Fred holds a degree in Science with a Computer Science/Math Option from Penn State University and a Masters Degree in Computer Resource Management from Webster University. He is a former Major in the United States Marine Corps, the recipient of multiple awards for teaching excellence, frequent guest speaker, and keeps his technology skills current as he assists businesses needing software solutions as a technology consultant.
