TAS 154 – Ben Webber’s journey to $50 Million selling on Amazon and Walmart.

Time really is running out to join the 4th Amazon Collective Mastermind that Regina and I are holding in March on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th , this time in the Blue Mountains NSW. It’s being sponsored by multi-currency solutions provider, World First and Australian eCommerce Accountants, Intrepid Advisory and 1StopVAT. To join us, Fe Soutter and international VIP guests including Ben Webber who stars in this episode. Head over to www.theaustralianseller.com/collective to learn more and apply!

Today I interview Ben Webber, an Amazon legend, who started selling retail arbitrage on Amazon back in 2014. He was driving his truck all over the country, searching for liquidations and bargains so he could list those products on Amazon and make a tidy profit. With his buddies, they were able to scale to $3 Million per year!

They quickly realised that the retail arbitrage model wasn’t a sustainably scalable business, so they pivoted to Private label in 2016 and things took off after they were interviewed on a popular radio show in the USA. An interesting way to launch a product on Amazon, that’s for sure!

They now have 9 Brands, with hundreds of SKU’s selling both on Amazon and Walmart, last year selling over $50 million.

Amongst lots of gold nuggets, Ben chats about his latest product research tactic, buying product patents from Patent owners to create defensible product lines.

So come join Ben at the Amazon Collective!

Don’t forget to join my Facebook Group! Head over to www.theaustralianseller.com/facebook
