Carla Swiryn believes that matchmaking should be accessible to everyone, and she has built an impressive business to make that vision a reality. We have a CO connection as she graduated from CU Boulder. She worked in marketing for 10 years, including optimizing ads at Google for 6 years and running her own ad agency, before finding her true passion in matchmaking. She was the first matchmaker hired at Three Day Rule, and helped match clients there for 6 years before branching off on her own to create DateSpot in 2019.

DateSpot is an innovative matchmaking company that connects singles to the clients of multiple matchmaking companies, and offers risk-free matchmaking on a pay-per-match basis. Due to the model, the company prides itself on being able to take on anyone with no pressure on either side. Carla's favorite hobby is tennis, and enjoys when a new game starts and she gets to say "love all". She is happily married to Greg, her perfect match, and they have a delightful daughter, Ava, who will turn three just after Valentine’s Day.

Though not Asian herself, Carla was born, raised and still lives in the diverse Bay Area, her father was born and raised in the Philippines, and she has worked extensively with many Asian clients.
