Belonging

You've heard of Diversity, Inclusion, and maybe even Equity in corporate and academic spaces but have you heard of the concept of belonging? This week we’re joined by Jack Brickhouse and a dear friend of the foundation Dr. Heather Sanders to discuss the B in DIEB, Belonging. We examine how Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging are interconnected and where the responsibilities lie on how people feel as though they belong in the community, academically, and in their careers. We also examine belonging as something to opt-in to and whether or not we want to feel as though we belong in certain settings.
