Peebles for the People- Episode 1: The Clerk
We live in a time when injustices happen on a daily basis, some are caught early and brought to justice, but many others are swept under the rug and never heard of. Peebles for the Peoples podcast is here to tear that rug up, and bring the injustices of the world to light one by one, using real life examples. Episode Summary: In this episode of Peebles for the Peoples podcast we dive into the mishandling of information and evidence by a small town police department which leads to the incarceration of a man who maintained his innocence until his last breath. This injustice brings us to the small town of Oswego, NY. Where, in 1994, an 18-year-old girl was kidnapped and never seen again. Confirmed: Syracuse investigative journalist John O'Brien will come on the podcast and be the expert on this case. O'Brien is a hall of fame journalist in Syracuse, who covered the Allen case. He then became the investigator for the federal public defender's office and focused solely on the Heidi Allen case.
