I used to think that all you had to do to be successful in business was just advertise hard enough. But it turns out that the age-old saying is actually true: "It's not what you know, it's who you know." Honestly, you can go far with great advertising, but you will never unlock your true potential without connecting to people and fellow vendors in your industry.
