We’re speaking with none other than Chris Barton, the founder one of the most successful apps ever in the App Store- Shazam. So successful, that it has over 1 billion downloads to date and was sold to Apple for a reported fee of $400 million dollars.
We talk about the early days of Shazam (by the way, did you know that Shazam was released long before the App Store was available?) the rollercoaster of a journey he took to get it to the level it is today and how you can apply some of those lessons to your app. I must point out that not only is Chris super successful, but you’ll also hear in the podcast just how much of an awesome guy he is.
