#366 - Veteran, Musician, Father, Husband, "BADASS" - Dallas Alexander
In this episode, we sit down with Dallas Alexander, who grew up in a tiny town in Canada, spending his childhood outdoors and dreaming of hockey. As his junior hockey career came to a close, a chance encounter in the oil fields introduced him to the JTF 2 Special Operations Force. Intrigued by this elite unit, Dallas embarked on a journey within the Canadian military with the goal of joining their ranks.
After successfully completing the rigorous selection process, he found himself integrated into JTF 2, where he was drawn to the sniper unit and quickly became a tier 1 sniper. Dallas and his team gained international recognition for achieving the world’s furthest sniper kill shot during a mission in Afghanistan.
After serving in the military, Dallas discovered a new passion for music. The energy of live performance captivated him, and he is now channeling the same focus and determination he applied in his military career into songwriting and performing. We’re excited to share he has released his first album, along with his debut single “Adios Amigo,” which features a music video that commemorates his remarkable experience as a sniper. Tune in for an inspiring conversation that spans from the battlefield to the stage!
