Another week, another 4-0 win for Liverpool!

Luke and James are here to chat about the Reds’ great win over Southampton, and how promising it is that Liverpool have been scoring lots of goals of late.

Before getting stuck into the match, there was time to glance over the frankly ludicrous decision that saw Mo Salah only achieve 7th place in this year’s Ballon d'Or ceremony. There’s no way we’re having Jorginho better than him…

Anyway, back to the on the pitch action and we discussed Diogo Jota’s impact for Liverpool as he bagged himself a brace against the Saints. Plus, after two consecutive goals we chatted about whether we were now beginning to see the very best of Thiago. 

Andy Robertson has had some minor criticism from some, but he put down a marker with an excellent performance and we discussed if the flying Scot was showing signs of returning to his better form.  

Next, we previewed the tricky upcoming away fixtures against Everton and Wolves. Form always goes out the window in Derby games, and with a certain Rafa Benitez in the Blues’ dugout, we discussed what we might expect from the former Liverpool boss. Plus, we wondered what kind of reception he would get from Reds’ fans, and whether he’s on a hiding to nothing at Goodison.
