It was back to winning ways for the Reds in the Premier League this week, and Luke and James are here to run their eyes over all the action.

With Salah and Mane away at AFCON, the guys discussed how we coped in their absence, placing a particular focus on Oxlade-Chamberlain and Minamino who grabbed the goals against Brentford. Plus, there was time to wax lyrical over the magnificence of Trent Alexander-Arnold and muse whether Roberto Firmino was the greatest example of a Jurgen Klopp player.

We also moved on to previewing the League Cup clash against Arsenal and how we need to up our game after a lacklustre first game. We also discussed the Premier League fixture away at Crystal Palace, and the importance of Liverpool keeping the pressure up even as Man City seemingly run away with the title.

Plus, there was time to offer our opinions on the raft of Covid cancellations that have occurred throughout the Premier League in recent weeks.
