Mike has an extremely interesting and meandering journey through Louisiana upbringing, attending bible school, becoming a pastor, excommunicating himself from the Christian church, then discovering plant medicines and recognizing them as true sacraments.

This conversation dives deep into the constructs of organized religion, belief systems, allegory vs. history, the spectrum of beliefs within the same doctrine, shame and guilt, true intellectual freedom, the purported consequence of eternal damnation, and much more.
