Sup? This episode was such a pleasure to make! Not because I was in the best space, in fact, I was in one of the lowest places I have been in this year. I'm still there. But it was such a joy to get back into recording episodes and worshipping the Lord the best way I know how sometimes. I'm grateful for this podcast. I'm grateful for the opportunity to pour out my thoughts, my feelings, my worries and my creativity, in a way that glorifies God. And sometimes, not all the time, these episodes actually speak to someone, which is literally the best feeling ever!
In this episode, we will simply be catching up - I mean we haven't chatted in a while. We will unpack grief, disappointment and feelings of distance and disconnection from the Lord as a result of those feelings. Besides the 'normal' trials we experience when we aim to live a life that pleases the Lord, we also sometimes experience tragedies and crises that test our faith. But the Lord tells us that we should count is as joy when our faith is tested, because that is an opportunity for us to grow (James 1:1-3). Towards the end of the episode, we will talk about how we move forward. And how we can trust God despite the challenges that we go through in our lives, and leave all our worries and anxieties with Him (Matthew 6: 26-34).

Sup? In this episode of The Amen & Stuff Podcast, we’re talking about how easy it is to treat God like a blessing machine. We come to Him when we’re desperate, “God please”, and when He finally answers, we hit Him with a “God thank You… finally,” and then go quiet until the next thing we need.
But God isn’t just for emergencies. He wants to be part of our everyday lives, the mundane, the routine, the normal. We’re called to acknowledge Him in all our ways (Proverbs 3:6), not just when we’re in trouble or when we’re celebrating.
We also look at Luke 3:8–9, where we’re reminded to bear fruit that’s worthy of repentance. This walk with God isn’t just about what He can do for us, it’s about who we’re becoming in Him. And lastly we get into how tough it is, especially as young people, it’s not easy. There are temptations, distractions, and pressure all around. But if our eyes stay fixed on the Lord, there is nothing we can’t overcome.

Sup? Have you noticed how easy it is to settle into comfort, especially when it comes to our walk with God? In this episode of The Amen & Stuff Podcast, we're digging deep into the quiet danger of spiritual mediocrity.
We’re talking about what happens when we get used to God, when the fire fades, when the awe wears off, and when salvation becomes something we take for granted instead of something we live out daily. In Revelation 3:16 God says,"So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth." It’s in the grey areas we fall into that lukewarmness takes root, and we start drifting, back into sin, into apathy, or into a faith that only shows up when it’s convenient.
But here’s the truth: God doesn’t play about us. Psalm 91 reminds us that He commands angels on our behalf. He is passionate about us. So how dare we offer Him half-hearted devotion?
So, in this episode we will be figuring out how to choose Him everyday, how to worship Him everyday, how to live for Him everyday. Not just when it's convenient.
Because mediocrity?
It’s not an option.
I had so much fun with this episode, I hope it touches you! Let's connect!

Sup? In this Women's Month special, I sit down with my sister Liyabona Gaushe to talk about the real-life challenges of living as a young person and a young woman in Christ. We get honest about the desire to fit in and be relevant, and how that can sometimes come at the cost of our salvation.
But here’s the truth: we weren’t called to blend in, we were called to stand out. We are the salt and the light, and it’s not about us, it’s all about God.
We dive into the importance of keeping our relationship with God as our top priority, even when it’s hard, even when it’s lonely, and even when the world is pulling us in every other direction.
Tune in and let this conversation challenge and encourage you to get your priorities in order!

Sup? This episode is a little different, a mini crashout, raw and real. I’ll be honest: I hit record in a low place. But somewhere along the way, this conversation became exactly what I needed, and maybe, just maybe, it’s what you need too.
We talk about what it means to just get through, to go through the motions when everything feels heavy. And how even in those quiet, uncertain, lonely moments, we're not abandoned. We are a city not forsaken!
This is why I created this podcast: to hold space for the real, the weary, and the worn down. If you're feeling unseen, if you're questioning where God is in all this, you're not alone. Let’s sit in it together, and talk about how even this can draw us closer to Him.

Sup? In this episode of The Amen & Stuff Pod, we’re diving into the powerful truth found in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for the good of those who love God. Life doesn't always make sense, and many of us are going through it right now. But even in the chaos, the uncertainty, and the waiting, God is still working.
We will talk about what it means to rest in the truth that no matter what we face, we are not alone and it's all working out for our good, no matter how down bad we are! We’ll share our experience, scripture, and real talk about how to trust God when it’s hard and how to hold onto peace even when circumstances say otherwise.
If you're feeling weary or uncertain about what’s next, this episode is for you.

In this thought-provoking episode, we sit down with a powerful voice in the Christian faith, Kwanele Mlambisa. As a prosecutor with the National Prosecuting Authority, Kwanele upholds justice, but his true passion lies in art, writing, and empowering men to step into their God-given purpose. He is the author of Smelling The Coffee and Limiting Cultures, two books that challenge perspectives and spark deep conversations.
Kwanele has also organized a conference for men, advocating for them to embrace leadership, purpose, and their dreams with boldness. In a world where men are often expected to suppress their struggles, he is creating spaces for them to rise, heal, and lead with faith.
In this episode, we dive into:
- The importance of leadership and stepping into your calling
-Breaking cultural limitations and societal expectations placed on men
-The power of writing, storytelling, and art in shaping narratives
- His journey as both a prosecutor and a creative, and how he balances both
If you’re a man seeking clarity on your purpose, or someone passionate about leadership and faith, this conversation will encourage you to rise up and walk boldly in who God has called you to be.

None of us can deny it, it's about that time! We are all EXHAUSTED. This solo episode will be a venting session about how hard life is right now emotionally, mentally, academically, financially, spiritually - everythingcally! But more than that, this episode will begin to entertain the idea that maybe we can go through it all while still being children of God. Maybe instead of trying to fix and rejuvenate ourselves so that we can get back to Him with the fire and passion we know we have deep inside, we can rest in Him. Maybe we can allow Him to restore us. Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
I know, being burnt out can open you up to the enemy's many lies. It can make us feel like we are a fraud, that we are unworthy of God. But remember that we didn't earn His love, He loved us first, He chose us first (John 15:16). Don't allow the enemy to condemn you (Romans 8:1). You are doing your best, and as cliche as it sounds, you literally have to allow your Father to do the rest. He wants to. We are so close to the end of the year. We've got this! I love you, neh?

She has performed at several events, including The Cape Town Jazz Festival at Grandwest Casino, where she opened for Sjava, Zonke and Mandisi Dyantis. She has also performed alongside other powerful black women such as the late Zahara, Msaki and Buhlebendalo. In this episode, she speaks to us about being a born-again child of God and how she manages to stay true to her faith while navigating a cut-throat music industry. We also delve into what it means to have a dream as a young black woman and work towards it despite all the challenges that might come your way, hence it becomes important to always go back to The Giver of your dream.

It has taken me years to say this but my name is Letho Khumalo, and this is The Amen and Stuff Podcast! The "Amen" represents God and faith, and the "stuff" represents everything in between! Needless to say, the primary goal is to have conversations that shed light on the goodness of God and what it means to take up your cross and follow Him. We will leave no stone unturned, however, as we will also discuss key areas of life such as social justice, activism, art, entertainment and empowerment!
Although I would describe myself as a vocal person, this is the first time in my life where I am able to fully lean into who I am and use my voice to speak on the things I am passionate about and the God I serve. It is my greatest wish to create a safe and comfortable space with this podcast. It is my hope that all people, in particular young people, will be edified enough to either commit to their relationship or create a relationship with God. And lastly, it is my hope that we will change the world, no matter how little our change will be. Welcome to the Amen & Stuff Podcast!
