Steph Lancefield runs a training, breaking and sales establishment with her partner Mitch Dunnachie from Merton, VIC at the base of Victoria’s High Country Region.
She has ridden her whole life, although not coming from a remotely horsey family, passion has driven her to create a career out of working with horses.
She has worked in all aspect of the horse industry ranging from riding schools, eventing yards, Thoroughbred breeders and trainers, to being a packer at a mule station in the Sequoia National Forest in California. She spent three summers abroad working in California at a private summer camp coaching riders and being a working hand at various cattle ranches.
Steph has a real passion for coaching and has a great group of non pro’s which is where the real thrill of reining comes from for her, seeing them succeed.
Steph has only been reining for the last 4 years but has loved every moment of it and looking forward to taking her first futurity horse to the 2021 4yo Gold Buckle Futurity.
