As we count down to Christmas, we are releasing a new podcast episode each day from December 1st to 25th, kind of like an audio advent calendar. Day Seventeen features Anthony Skepple, Head Coach of the Briercrest College Women's Basketball Program. Skepple joins host Tyler Bennett for the third time on the podcast.
Skepple and Bennett use the first part of the episode to catch up on what's transpired since their last episode back in May, 2021. Then, Skepple discusses the first semester for the Briercrest College program and how things have unfolded at the midway point. He shares some of the standout performances from the first half of the season, and what he's liked from the group as a whole. Then, he discusses what lies ahead in the second half of the season and gives some advice to student-athletes on how to balance everything with academics, sports, and life.
