Three Alberta byelections are set for June 23, with Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi set to run in Rachel Notley’s former seat of Edmonton-Strathcona.
Meanwhile, the Alberta Prosperity Project has officially filed its petition for a referendum on separation — and wants Elections Alberta to block what it calls “mischief” counter-questions.
The province is also cracking down on pornographic content in school libraries and hitting commercial truck driving schools with fines and licence suspensions for major safety violations.
