Albertans cast advance ballots in record numbers
Canadians head to the polls tomorrow, and Alberta is poised to play a key role in shaping the outcome. Nearly 27 per cent of Albertans cast ballots during the advance voting period — one of the highest rates in the country. Polling projections show Alberta remaining a Conservative stronghold, with most ridings expected to go blue. Edmonton Centre remains one of the few battlegrounds in the province after embattled former Liberal cabinet minister Randy Boissonnault chose not to run again. Meanwhile, Alberta oil is seeing record exports to China as U.S. trade tensions escalate. The shift draws fresh attention to Mark Carney’s energy policies and his Chinese ties.
