Just like uncle Ben said to Peter Parker: "With great power comes great responsibility."  What does it take to be regarded as a great leader in Africa? perseverance? dedication? Being a dictator? Democracy? What?!.

With the loss of the former president of the Republic of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings aka JJ. A man who in his own words said: "Don't sing songs in praise of me, please.  Sing it in praise of Ghana and Africa, the black man. This is the first of a new series: Legacy of African Leaders.

His legacy? : Stable democracy and economic growth and Pan Africanism amongst other things.
