We talk to the adopted children, birth parents and adopting parents as well those that facilitate the search for answers. Along with the adoption stories, people with donor conceived and Foster experiences are also more than welcome as there are many similarities with the adoption community.

Sarah is heading up the team that is putting together the very first Australian Adoption Literary Festival. As is her way, she gives us more than just that as a promotion, Sarah gives us her story of how she came to be in this space and what working with people with lived adoption experience means to her.

Its being held online for the first time ever on Saturday 4th November 2023
This episode also has some sad news, one our previous guests, Julia Kaylock who was instrumental in getting the festival off the ground has passed, which i was unaware of and i'd like to pass my sincere condolences to her family, she did a lot for our community and she will be sadly missed.
