Cara Elizabeth Quici (born May 30, 1985) is an American singer-songwriter and actress from Corpus Christi, Texas. She first showed musical interest as a child—singing hymns in church from age 4 and playing flute in school bands. As a teenager she signed with a Texas talent agency, competed in modeling and talent conventions, and then moved to New York City at age 18. Later she split her time between NYC and Los Angeles pursuing music and acting. Musically, she’s released a number of singles including “Away From You” (and its remixes) and “Fight”, her track based on Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right (To Party)”, which received approval from both Rick Rubin and The Beastie Boys. She also runs her own label, QMH Records. Her upcoming project, The Kronicles, is autobiographical—drawing on her life experiences, including personal loss and grief.
