Hey guys! I thought instead of clogging your feeds with Kickstarter updates about my movie, it might be nice to introduce you to the talent behind I Will Make You Mine. So I've taken The Actor's Diet Podcast out of retirement for episode 101 with one of its stars, musician Yea-Ming Chen Before filming this summer, Yea-Ming and I actually didn't know each other very well, because our characters never crossed paths in the Surrogate Valentine sequel, Daylight Savings. So the "Yea-Ming Chen" character I wrote for her is a very fictionalized version that she is playing. I loved getting to know her better over the shoot, and now I REALLY got to know her through this podcast interview. In this episode we talk a lot about rice, constipation (sorry), eggs and soy sauce, congee oatmeal, soup, her favorite restaurant in the Bay Area (Vien Huong), flax milk, and the grey areas of body image. I'm not sure when I'll have time to record another episode but there are actually a lot of past podcast guests involved in the movie!
