She is more than aware of the life and death impact failure can make. Whilst there are areas that failure truly is not an option, Maria suggests that within the right context, we can view failure as an opportunity, to learn, to grow and an achieve greater things. It isn't a matter of cliché, more one of fact, but it takes courage. As Brené Brown stated, "Failure can become our most powerful path to learning if we're willing to choose courage over comfort."
