Welcome to the final episode of the first season of the ACN Podcast. In today's episode I speak with Suzie Hoitink FACN. Suzie has been paving the way for the specialty of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Nursing for over 15 years. In 2005 Suzie established the Clear Complexions Clinics which she went on to sell in 2017. As Suzie mentions she entered the profession at a time whereby the specialty was only in its infancy. Throughout her time of leading her business Suzie went on to shape and contribute to the establishment of National Standards and Scope of Practice for the specialty. Suzie also developed an education program for her employees which a large part has been used to establish ACN's graduate certificate of cosmetic nursing. Suzie's work has been featured in high profile areas such as Vogue, the Australian Woman's Weekly and Cosmopolitan just to name a few.
