In today's episode I'm joined by Shauna Wilson MACN. Shauna is an exceptionally active member of the ACN community. Shauna is the Co-Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Working Party, is a member of the Men in Nursing Working Party, is an enrolled nurse and has gone on to establish and is the chair of the Enrolled Nursing COI. Shauna is also a Transgender woman. Shauna commences the episode today by sharing her journey into nursing, particularly of starting at a later age in life. Shauna shares her career to date and raises some of the challenges Enrolled Nurses face and why she has helped to establish and leads the Enrolled Nursing COI. Shauna openly shares her journey of transitioning to becoming a transgender woman and shares some of her experiences to date. I am incredibly grateful for Shauna's openness to discuss her journey.
