The Absurd Window

Late Night. Sitting in a dimly-lit room. Typing away. My laptop screen glowing on my face. Lo-fi music humming in my ears. Keeping me focused. Pause. I look up through the window in front of me. In the distance, I see another lonely window. The only lit one in its building. Represents a story. Sonder. Every single light in the night has a purpose. There may just be another 20-year-old staring out into the city. With some dream, or some pain that keeps them up at night. Whatever it is, I hope they figure it out.

Expression, Romanticizing Lives & being featured in Vogue w/ Zoe Kothari

Airplanes were taking off, bikes were honking, the audio was echoing, earphones weren't connecting, the wifi was giving up, honestly all signs pointed towards a terrible listening experience when it came to this episode. However, Zoe's story-like life experiences and philosophical insight made this conversation so much richer than any other. Her ability to craft a narrative build meaning and intention into the decisions that she has taken throughout life really got me involved in her story and I am sure it will do the same for all of you. Finally, I managed to get a non-Dosco on the podcast for a much-needed refresh to the kind of perspectives that are being shared on TAW. Anyway, in a fantastic roller coaster ride that goes from IB Visual Arts to the need for empathy, from living in a bubble to talking about Frida Kahlo, whereas some of you may take inspiration from this episode and others might take me for being a long-winded talker, it is safe to say that this episode is a must-listen.

Warmly,

Keshav

ps: sorry for the 3-hour delay :)
