Some episodes feature in deep dives into the back catalogue of the musicians that have shaped the landscape of music of the past 60 years. Duran Duran - "I'm Talking For Free" - Episode 59
Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!

I continue with the theme of New Wave and Synth Pop for at least one more week as we move on to the letter D which is represented by Duran Duran. They are one of the bands that were a major part of my childhood in the early 80s as I grew up watching MTV waiting with heightened anticipation for their videos to show up. On this episode I curate 10 songs that I feel were underrated/under-appreciated from the first half of their recording career (up through their 1993 release, Duran Duran aka The Wedding Album). I sincerely hope you enjoy this episode and let me know what you think of the show. I'd love to hear from you.

I do not own the rights to any of the music played on this podcast. The musicians or the music labels own the copyright. I play this music under the doctrine of Fair Use. I am not here as a DJ, but to offer music commentary and criticism. My goal is for you to gain a larger appreciation for the bands or the musicians played here on this podcast and I ask for you to go out and purchase their music or legally stream it. The musicians need your support and I hope this show contributes to spreading the good word about the bands you hear on these episodes. I do not profit in any way from this podcast. It is truly done out of my pure love of the music.
