We celebrate music that has the joy of creation, that knows where its been and (often) tries to see where it's going. The A-Trane has been on the airwaves on community radio in Vancouver since 1982 and the current host has been in the broadcaster's chair since 1986. Every show starts with a different version of our theme "Take the A Train" relevant to the date or Vancouver performances and then continues with a piece performed or inspired by John Coltrane.
